The Positive Side
Going into church this Sunday I saw a father aggressively leading his family of four into the church, Bible in hand.
What a powerful image to see a father ensuring that his family is in church--together. But there's more: during communion he and his entire family knelt for prayer together at the altar rail.
I'm not saying we all have to follow this example, but it is a good one. And it reminds us to check in every so often about how we are executing our role as a parents.
Men get dinged a lot for the things they do not do. I think it's important to call out the positive things we do also.
