Given up on church?

According to our survey a lot of men feel they are going through the motions at church. At least they are attending. But there are a lot more who have given up on church altogether and simply do not show up.

I am encouraging you to give church another try. Whatever your reason for not attending, you need to know that when fathers attend church, it is likely the entire family will attend. That is one good reason to attend.

If your concern is about the teachings of the church, shop around. There are as many different ideas about worship as there are churches. Don't give up until you find one where you feel comfortable.

Personally, I went through a long period where I felt I did not need the church in my younger years. However now I find the church family to be something I would not want to be without. Especially during my recent accident and illness they were there for me consistently, bringing meals, cards, gifts and good wishes.
